This opera length carved Quartzite necklace is beautiful as it is rare!
Vibrant purple semi-translucent beads are carved with swirling shapes. No two beads are alike.
For buyer edification: Quartzite is NOT Quartz. Quartzite is a naturally occurring, metamorphic rock formed from Sandstone. When Sandstone comes into contact with magma buried deep within the earth's surface, Quartzite forms from natural quartz grain. Quartzite can be of exceptional strength, density, and hardness. It is of higher value than quartz.
