Compliance Specialist
Summary
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting Security Bank and Trust Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS) by ensuring adherence to applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations. The role assists in monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance reviews, and promoting a culture of compliance across all business lines. The position plays a key role in minimizing regulatory risk and ensuring the bank operations in a safe, sound, and consumer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting Security Bank and Trust Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS) by ensuring adherence to applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations. The role assists in monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance reviews, and promoting a culture of compliance across all business lines. The position plays a key role in minimizing regulatory risk and ensuring the bank operations in a safe, sound, and consumer-focused manner.
Qualifications
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) is preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
- Working knowledge of banking operations and procedures
- Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
- Attention to detail and follow-through with written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to teamwork and long-term commitment to success
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
