Call Center Banking Specialist
Summary
The Call Center Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through telephone communication channels. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, processing financial transactions, resolving account inquiries, providing technical support, and promoting bank products and services. The employee must maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and compliance while creating a positive customer experience across all delivery channels.
This position may require rotating schedules, including extended hours and Saturdays, to support customer service operations across multiple delivery channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounts, products, services and bank policies.
- Assist customers with:
- Online banking
- Mobile banking
- Debit card issues
- Password resets
- Account maintenance requests
- General service questions
- Research and resolve customer concerns while ensuring timely follow-up.
- Route complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Build customer loyalty through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Banking or Call Center experience preferred.
Bachelor’s, Associates, technical degree, or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
